Location of the Anaconda Lodge
What should you bring!
Sun protection. Sunscreen and hat, long-sleeve shirts and pants protects you from sun amd mosquitos.
Mosquito protection. Insect repellent with a high degree of DEET. Put on your repellent 30 min after you had put your sunscreen.
Rain Protection. Best are rain ponchos, you can buy them very cheap in Puerto Maldonado.
Flash light. There is about 12 hours darkness every day in the jungle and outside of the bungalows and restaurant of Anaconda Lodge.
Swimming suit. Enjoy our swimming pool. You can even swim naked in the pool at Anaconda Lodge if you like, but in the lakes and rivers this behavior is not appreciated by the locals.
Some disinfectant or pure alcohol. You should not scratch mosquito bites with your fingernails, but apply alcohol to all wounds.
Earplugs. Locals like very loud music for partying in the evening, especially on weekends.
Flip Flops. They are comfortable and at Anaconda Lodge we remove shoes and flip-flops before entering the bungalows and restaurant.
